The babies are 3 weeks old today. They are now outside with the big buns, and except for being smaller, they pretty much act like one of the big dogs now. They had been in a solid bottom cage with pine shavings, so moving to the wire cage was a bit....comical. They couldn't figure out how they were suppose to walk on it, and "army crawled" along on it for the first day. Now they just zip around. They are eating Timothy Hay, pellets, and they drink water out of the crock--which is really cute because they have to stand up on their hind legs to get a drink--its a really tall crock.
We sexed them this morning, and it looks as though we have 3 bucks, including the sport, and 2 does.
I'm just a normal mom of two great boys. I have been married to Dan for 15 years and we live in south central Kansas, in the town I have lived my entire life. Our family enjoys raising and showing rabbits, gardening, and just living a simple and quiet life.
